A New Leap in Future Aviation and Drones: Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between Korea Drone Delivery Association and National Aviation Museum
On January 17, 2025, the Korea Drone Delivery Association and the National Aviation Museum took a new step toward the future by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the promotion of aviation culture and cooperation in drone technology. The MOU signing ceremony was held at the National Aviation Museum in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, with attendees including Baek Sora, President of the Drone Delivery Association, Ahn Tae-hyun, Director of the National Aviation Museum, and representatives from affiliated companies of both organizations. The Korea Drone Delivery Association leads the convergence of drones and logistics, contributing to the advancement of the drone delivery industry through various activities aimed at the commercialization and development of drone delivery technology. Since its opening in 2020, the National Aviation Museum has operated exhibitions and educational programs to promote the aviation industry and culture. Notably, through the renovation of the third-floor Aviation Life Hall, the museum has enhanced its exhibitions and augmented reality education programs focused on drones and urban air mobility (UAM). The agreement aims to foster development in aviation and drone fields and includes various collaborative projects such as donation of related materials, academic research, and joint project initiatives. Both institutions will continue to drive innovative growth in the aviation and drone industries through mutual promotion and networking.
